Google Analytics is a free tool from Google that tells you who is visiting your website, where they came from, what they looked at, and how long they stayed. For any escort agency or independent escort with a website, it is essential. This guide walks you through the basics.
If Google Analytics is not already installed on your website, your web developer can add it in about five minutes. You will need a Google account. Go to analytics.google.com, create a property for your website, and you will be given a tracking code to add to your site.
Once it is installed, data starts flowing immediately. Give it 48 hours and then log back in to start seeing your first reports.
When you log in to Google Analytics, you land on the Home dashboard. This gives you a quick overview of your site’s performance over the last 7 days. At a glance you can see total users, sessions, bounce rate and average session duration.
Do not get hung up on any single metric in isolation. What matters is the trend over time — is traffic going up or down month on month?
Users — the number of individual people who visited your site.
Sessions — the total number of visits. One user can generate multiple sessions.
Pageviews — the total number of pages viewed.
Bounce rate is the percentage of visitors who land on your site and leave without visiting a second page. A high bounce rate is not necessarily bad for an escort site — many visitors land on a profile page, make a decision, and call or email directly without clicking further.
If your bounce rate is very high AND your average session duration is very low (under 20 seconds), that suggests visitors are leaving almost immediately — usually because the page is slow to load or the content is not what they expected.
Go to Acquisition → Traffic Acquisition. You will see traffic broken down by source:
Filter your Acquisition report to show only Referral traffic, then look at the source breakdown. You will see exactly which escort directories are sending you visitors. If you are paying for a directory listing and it appears nowhere in your referral traffic after 3 months, cancel it and reallocate the budget.
Analytics setup is included as standard with all our web design packages. Get in touch if you need help interpreting your data.
